Start off on a good note! What were some of the biggest accomplishments of this month? Did someone go above and beyond their duty? You can also welcome new team members. And maybe give out awards like “employee of the month”.
Note - Remember to abstract the technical side of the win. E.g. if it’s a new engineering feature, focus on its impact and not how it was made! This will ensure that everyone can understand the context.
Business updates + announcements (15 mins)
This is where a CEO can shine. Use this to align everyone in the right direction. Talk about where the company is headed. It’s vision and goals! It helps to talk about the same metrics every month during the all hands. A good agenda here would look something like:

- Customer acquisition cost -
- Headcount -
- Runway -
Focus on outcome oriented metrics and what made them move up and down. You can end this section with quick announcements or new projects.
